< re Lance Armstrong's appearance : >
"And at the age of 25, he was diagnosed with cancer and given a 50% chance
of survival. He not only beat the disease, but he went on to shatter sports
history by becoming a seven-time champion of the Tour de France. Now, he is
entering the political world to co-host two presidential forums aimed at
getting the 2008 candidates from both parties to address one issue: the
fight against Cancer. Our exclusive guest this Sunday, moderator of the 2008
Livestrong Presidential Cancer Forums, Lance Armstrong."

p.s. unfortunately 'Meet the Press' is the only one of the US "talking
heads" weekly shows I can get here on cable in Thailand; fortunately, imho,
it's the best of the lot. Last Sunday's MTP "performance" by Karl Rove was
like a lesson in lying from Darth Vader, himself.
