Default Murray gets a visit from Jacob

Good Morning Group,
Today Murray's Mom and sister will be picking up Jacob (the baby) to
take up to Kingston Hosipital for a visit. I will be at work for a few
hours so I can't go along.
I worry about them driving on the 401 with the baby. (perhaps I have
some trust issues) I keep it to myself though. Just telling you guys.
Murray's really nauseated. Last night he said he was throwing up every
half hour, despite the anti-nausea meds.
The 1st time he did chemo they gave him gravol for the nausea!!!??? I
thought that that didn't seem quite right since it wasn't helping the
nausea AT ALL. Instead, he was nauseated AND drowsy. Not a fun combo.
So I asked the Doc and he was puzzled as to why they would use gravol
and he switched him to a steroid (stematol or something). Anyone know
some names of good anti-nausea meds?
I feel pretty good today. No hopeless feeling. (touch wood)

Hi Lori.

Zofran worked very well for my son.

Hope this helps.

Best wishes.

I'll second the Zofran. Easy to take. It just dissolved on my tongue,
which is a big plus when swallowing is painful.

There's Zofran, but it's really expensive.

My doc gave me low-dose ativan (1 mg) for nausea.

They say marijuana works, but it's hard to use in a hospital setting.
