In the top link Edwards says he is not the father, due to the timing.
The father of the baby is said to be someone in the Edwards camp. But

Edwards will go through a paternity test, and, one would assume he

How is this relevant to anything?

Providing we're talking consenting adults, whom people sleep with is
their own business, and nobody else's. If people have to lie to keep
their privacy, they are entitled.

More likely, he was trying to keep his privacy so that none of the
obvious victims was embarassed in public. He was entitled, because
nobody stood to get a legitimate benefit from exposure, but at least
three and argubaly four people stood to be hurt by it.

That doesn't pass muster as reasonable.
