Autistic children have to be constantly watched, often put on anti-anxiety
medicines and anti-psychotics to calm them down and for the parent (or
parents), to get any sleep, each night.
Difficult to manage, and especially difficult once they become adults and
live on their own.
Communication skills continue to improve with reading, TV, books, but many of
the other problems remain static.
I've found his posts on autism newsgroups in 2002. he's learned the tricks,
I suppose, from other trolls, over the past 5 years.
I recognize that far too many people are tested for sleep apnea, but not
first checked by a pulmonologist and ear, nose and throat doctor to make sure
something else isn't happening. Early symptoms of AML often resemble other
conditions, making early diagnosis difficult.
Also sleep apnea can be accompanied by GERD, which can cause inflammation to
the back of the throat and tonsils, so it's hard to know if he has AML (or
not) or if it's a guess on his part, since I can't find any details about it
on any of his web pages. Like date of diagnosis, type of doctor who diagnosed
him and Lord knows, he sure can put up other letters, so if he's got a letter
of diagnosis, for AML, one would think that he'd put it up.
However, we can't help him sort out his outstanding debts, harassment, which
often happens to people who a) live alone and b) have "brain" problems,
troubles with the building owners, repairs he's refused to let them come in
to make and dealings with his doctors nor his sleep apnea. His options seem
to be to barricade himself there and stay on his sleep apnea machine(s) until
/unless somebody breaks down the door and shuffles him off to an institution,
where they would medicate him and keep him off the internet or jail, if
further physical assaults occur.
This must be a baffler for new people.
New people, you can feel sorry for him, if you wish, but befriending him does
not work. He's so paranoid.
So if you want peace of mind and know how to use your newsreader filters,
filter his posts.
Please ignore him. There's nothing we can do. He makes sense in part and the
other part is out in "paranoid/autistic land"..unreachable.
