I wanted let you all know about a brand new program that we're
launching here at The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, called Partners for
Cures - specifically for smaller online and storefront businesses. As
you already know, it's now a well-established fact that businesses
which support charities are viewed more favorably by their customers
and that translates into more referrals, as well as sales or brand
switching.
Designed to meet the needs of smaller online and local businesses who
wish to do something for a worthy charity and driven by our desire to
increase grassroots name recognition, Partners for Cures (PFC)
provides them with an official Society logo that they can proudly
display on their web sites and in emails. We also provide a printable
poster and a flyer which can be displayed in-store or added to
outgoing packages of purchased items, to show customers that they
support the Society. Also included are both adhesive and static
stickers for walls, doors or windows.
We realize that budgets are tight and that the cost of licensing can
be high, so we are requesting only a modest, annually renewable
donation of $250 to join Partners for Cures. Once the online
application is submitted along with the $250 donation, it will be
reviewed and, if approved, "Partners" get access to all the official
PFC materials.
There is also a Cause Marketing option available, for businesses that
wish to make a donation based upon the sale of their products
returning either a percentage of the sale price, or a fixed dollar
amount per sale.

It's a great way for smaller storefront or online businesses to show
their support and let their customers know that the fight to cure
