I have read about the usage of phytochemicals (most notably Rutin;
quercetin rutinoside) for the prevention of cancer. There is research
conducted regarding the cancer preventive properties of these (plant
derived) chemicals. Search on keywords "quercetin cancer" or "rutin
cancer" on pubmed.com. Most notably, these chemicals are very cheap and
easy to obtain. This is why I use Rutin as chemopreventive strategy. I
am searching if there are people here with experience or knowledge
regerding the usage of these chemicals.
The problem is that pure quercetin should not get absorbed into the
system, but Rutin does get absorbed. Also it is very cheap, about 10
cent a pill (containing 500 mg of Rutin). ($0.10 dollar)
