Mom died a year ago today. Hard to believe, huh?

It's a very sad day here. `Didn't sleep well. I miss her so much. Fresh
thoughts of what happened makes the grieving come back like it was
yesterday.

Pray today goes by quickly. And, as always, thanks to you J, for all of
your support.

The first's are always the worst Laurie, go with the flow of your emotions.
Hopefully one day soon memories of your ma will evoke smiles rather than
tears, our loved ones stay with us eternally, within our memories and in our
hearts.

Thanks for asking, J. It went okay. A close girlfriend of mine came by and
insisted on a pizza and a movie. That helped tremendously. `Heard from Dad
this morning, and he did okay too. I think we made it.

`Started back to work today after a year off. That was tough, but I'm
really glad now that the first day is over. Wow, life goes on!
