Default Question

Hi all

I have a question that I am sure maybe all or some of you here have had at
one point or another...........

How or when do you know when a pain or new lump/bump is something to worry
about?

Angie

After you have seen your doctor. If it concerns you, you won't hesitate.
Keep us posted as to what he tells you.

Guess that is what I meant - how do you know when you should contact your
doctor? I have a sore area on my left side (where your pants would be
around your waist area) so I was feeling around and found a lumpy area that
is right below my skin. I have found these before and had him check it -
said was just fatty deposits under the skin - but like I said this one is
sore...........Have gained some weight lately due to steroids and some of my
pants are fitting snugly. Thats why I wonder if this is related to that.
My next visit with my oncologist is 1/11/07. Wait????

Angie

That kinda depends on how badly it hurts? It might just need to be removed
and sometimes that can be don in his office. I have had three removed that
way and none were cancerous. But they sure hurt.
