Default Sentinal Node Biopsy Tomorrow - Nervous

I wanted to check in and let you know that I will be having a 1" X 3"
section of skin removed (amelanotic melanoma) from my back and node biopsy
Wednesday morning at 9:30am. Having it done at UConn Medical Center in
Hartford, CT.

After meeting with surgeon and getting a through physical, she seems think
that it may be localized? No swelling in arm pits or neck. Chest X-Ray came
back clean. =)

They tell me that I will have results next Monday or Tuesday. The wait will
be painful. I pray results are good.

My wife and I are not sleeping well and we are very scared.

Thanks for being here. I will let you know how things turn out.

Jack in Washingtonville, NY

Hello Jack,
Best wishes tomorrow.
Waiting is hard but it sounds very positive.
Hang on to that thought, please.

Best of luck with the biopsy.... so far it sounds good. And waiting
for results is very very hard.

Dear Jack,

I want to join with the others here who are wishing you good luck, and are
encouraged by the fact that you do not have swelling in arm pits or neck and
your chest x-ray is clean.

I promise to stop chattering like a magpie, and pay more attention to
messages like yours which is why we are (imho) really here.

best, Uncle Sally

Jack, Good luck with your biopsy. Try not to go stir crazy waiting
for the results to come back. Best wishes to you...
