Default Some Questions

I have started a new post because i hav webtv, and i cannot quote
people! kinda difficult to communicate effectively. anyhow, my doctor
(surgeon) said my margins were clear and my nodes were clean. Well is
sorta like japanese to me. What are margins?

If my onc says i need rad, do i go to a cancer reatment center? will my
insurance cover the costs of a fancy cancer center? I NEED the best
treatment possible. I have an HMO, it is blue care network. If he wants
to rad me, whats my next best step?

also my onc was voted top ten doctors in my state. Should i just stay
with him?

thx

It means that the surgery was successful in removing all the cancerous
growths.

If you need rads, you will need a radiation oncologist which will
probably be a different doctor.

Yes!!! Go to a cancer center for the rads. Check with your HMO. You may
still be able to go to a major center.
