Did you speak to the doctors or did your dad tell you what they said?
Yes his problem could be in his mind but I suspect there may be more to it
than that. You need to make sure what the real story is. If it's
psychosomatic (in his mind) then he needs appropriate treatment but if he's
trying to protect you from the fact that the cancer is back then you should
let him know he is doing you no favours. If there is something else
(complications from his surgery etc) then they need to be fully evaluated
too.
Feeding tubes should not be rushed into... there are good reasons for and
against their use.

yes i was with him so was my mother when we spoke to 4 different
doctors from different hospitals in different countries South Africa
and Zambia. the doctor who operated on him left a pen size in width
stomach and reassured us all that it will expand as time goes by he was
doing really well last year and gaining some weight. we sent him for a
check up where they performed a biobsy and since then his gotten worse.
we just got the final opnion from a ukrain doctor who says there is no
way for his stomach to expand at all

I'm sorry Bronny,
It must be very hard, for you, because we know that food and fluids are
life-sustaining.

I'm sure you came here with hope but your Dad must be weak and very thin, if he
hasn't eaten in 4 months, yes? Unfortunately, the kindest thing is probably to let
him go (since he can't keep foods or fluids down).

There are some things here that might help him be more comfortable.

Stay in touch, we'll try to be of comfort to you.
