Hi

My Dad passed away yesterday following a bleed from a brain metastasis.

His end was very quick and he didn't suffer.

I would like to thank this newsgroup, for just being there, and I would like
to specially thank J for kind advice. I haven't made many posts but I have
been keeping an eye on the board. I've never been a great one for words but
it's been comforting to see how others are coping with similar distressing
times.

My original post was asking questions about B17. Treatment with B17 is
supported by a very plausible theory. We did persist with a full programme
of treatment which didn't have the outcome that we had dearly hoped for,
perhaps we were too late for that. The B17 programme did however have some
benefit for us. It gave us hope where we had none and it may have helped
control my father's pain. Several reports on B17 claim that one of its
effects is a reduction in pain. Several professionals had commented to us
about their surprise that my Father had very little pain. Whether B17
actually helped in this respect or not, we will never know.

My thoughts go out to all of you who are continuing to deal with the
stresses caused by this terrible disease.

Sincere condolences, John.
May you find peace that you did everything possible for your father.
Some say time heals all, but a wise person, this week, says "it's what happens
during that time, or doesn't, that determines if healing occurs". It's a work
in progress. Remember the good times, along the way and that he was a
snowflake, like no one else.

Thank you for sharing.
J

Steve,
I am very sorry for your loss. Over time, happier memories of your dad
will return and you will forget about how it was at the end. I have only
recently begun to realize this with my own father's passing last summer.
God Bless. Belle
