I'm really not sure what this individual is getting out of this whole
campaign. He's made some horrible accusations about my wife and several
people in the village in which I live, yet he's never met me once in his
life.

He's made allegations against me as a firefighter, yet he's never met me
in his life. He's made allegations against me as a person, as a father,
as a programmer and even as a cancer patient, yet he's never met me in
his life.

It would appear that he's chosen to target me because of his issue with
Darrel Larose. Why, I don't know. Given he knows his way around anonymous
remailers, I invite him to email me personally at
dragnet@internalysis.com to tell me his side of things; (If he does, use
the word "vendetta" in the subject header and I'll search the junk folder
for it, since most mail to dragnet end up there).

He has nothing to gain from seeing me suffer personally, professionally
or financially. Until this morning, I'd thought he'd stopped or moved on,
as it had been quite some time since the last post. I was quite happy to
leave it be, having posted nothing about the situation in quite some
time, myself. It is my understanding that he is now sending threats of
violence to several people in my community.

On the off chance that it would work, I make this request to the
individual making posts about me, my family and my community: Please
stop. At the least, if you have some issue with me, whatever it is, would
you please litmit your attacks to me: My family and those around me don't
even use Usenet, but you've already accomplished your goal of sullying
their names as well through Google.
