I saw Hugh Laurie last night on Leno. That guy's a hoot and a half.
'Course, he did get his start on the Black Adder, so he's definitely got
hootworthy credentials. |

Oh man... Hugh isn't the prince/secret agent/master of disguise (or
whatever the hell he was) guy on Black Adder is he? I haven't watched that
many episodes but I never realized that was him (assuming it is).
I'm going to have to watch the show at some point... I've never understood
how they got from Victorian England to WWII (or is it WWI). |

Some of his best stuff was with another English comedian (and one of my
favourites) Stephen Fry in "A Bit Of Fry And Laurie". Comedy geniuses
the both of them. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fry_and_Laurie |

Hugh Laurie played Prince George and lieutenant George in different
series. They went from Elizabethan England to WW1, following the
fortunes of succeeding generations of Blackadder's. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hugh_Laurie http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blackadder
Stephen Fry, his comedy partner, played Lord Melchett in the first
series and General Melchett in the last one. He was recently diagnosed
with bipolar disorder and made a tv documentary about it. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stephen_Fry |

The first series of Blackadder was set in the Wars of the Roses.

I wish I could get a copy of this:
********
Fry has since spoken publicly about living with bipolar disorder, and in
2006 made a documentary about his experiences with the condition, Steven
Fry: The Secret Life of the Manic-Depressive. [2] In the film, he also
interviews Robbie Williams, Rick Stein, Carrie Fisher, Richard Dreyfuss
and Tony Slattery, who all suffer from the condition. The documentary
was aired on BBC Two in two separate segments on 19 September and 26
September 2006. |
