Sorry, but it's a little funny (as long as you did no permanent
damage.)
My snowblower only blows in one direction, so in the wind I get a face
full, and my glasses get covered, and my cheeks get numb. I ran over a
screw driver once, and I had to have it professionally removed from the
auger. Gotta police the yard before the snows, so I don't do that
again.
Glad you're feeding the birds. I'm kind of looking forward to the
first snows here.

Good man, feeding the birds. Yeah, they told me to stop in April,
resume in November, to keep the bears away. But the birds need the
seed, and we need the birds, so I never stop. Also, there are fewer
bears downstate here (actually, it would be a fluke to have a bear down
here). I have a finch feeder (The Nijer seed, tiny stuff, tiny holes)
and a couple regular sized feeders. I also had some deer blocks, gotta
get some more.

but there aren't many bears around now ,
its sleepy time for them , i got deer tracks ,
all over my lawn this morning ,
now that i got snow i can tell if they were here

about the bears, we got to worry about the rats. jill
