Wow! I think that will enter you in a million dollar drawing also. My
friend scatched off a ticket, won 100 bucks, then drove his jalopy to
the grand prize drawing, getting a flat along the way. When he finally
got there, he won a million dollars. No more jalopy after that.

How nice, Lisa, a little cash for a little caprice you might have. I wish I
had your luck, or my ex, who was a gambler all the way and never won the
biggie.
By the way, I am happy to see you around. I haven't been much on ASD and
always in a hurry, so I do not know the details of your staying in hospital.
I hope you feel much better now and in no need to go back again.

I've been doing it for over 8 years. So I am black belt. Didn't start it
untill I was 33.
What level are you and how often do you train.
I find it great for stress relief. I still train under my original 6th Dan
master. Some times he just leaves me alone during the warm up so I can
destress. He was holding a kick bag for me the other day and comented on how
hard my kicks were. I just said "well I'm cross". He then went into big
brother mode and wanted see that I was going to be all right and double
check that it wasn't him I was angry at. LOL
Hope the scratchies keep working for you

i don't play very often. for the past month or two, i've been
buying two $2 tickets per week. i usually keep winners in my car
for emergency cash. this is the first ticket i hit that won more

Wow! congradulations!!! I would be thrilled... I used to buy a lot
of scratch off tickets, usually without any luck... I would win
occasionally, but almost always $20 and less... a few times I won $50
and once I won $100, which was exciting... the only other time I won
the state lottery was when I picked 4 numbers out of 6 in the weekly
state lottery... It was exciting, but I was a frustrated because I was
only one number away from having 5 numbers, which would have increased
the winnings from about $35 to at least a couple thousand...

my boys have a mentally retarded woman in their class. she
doesn't have the speed and flexibility of most of the other
students, but she works hard. she was getting special forms
classes over the past month to try to earn her black belt. i
haven't seen her since the exam. i hope she made it.

i wouldn't call myself an addict, considering i play 2 tickets
a week. the 'emergency cash' bit is just because i don't
bother going back into the store to get $2 or $4 dollars back.
i buy them when i have cash. they'll be useful for when i
don't have any. |

By allowing asd to join in your happiness you are now
required to supply the week long supply of Nutella during
the asd magic bus tour roadtrip.
The old timers here will understand what I wrote.
I'n happy for you. Do something fun with some of it and do
something needed with the rest.

If you're like me, that $400 win will cost you about $600, spending
gets to be fun and I always go over the limit/reward.
I constantly use the excuse of quitting drinking to buy stuff. "Well
I quit drinking, that's $200 a month. That's just 6 months for this
new receiver...let's do it."
I think I've used about 5 years of future savings on that arguement... | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
