i'm pretty good.
how are you?
weather's been pretty good for the time of year.
a little breezy, just enough to deliver the aroma
of the slurry from the hog confinement operations
that they are pumping from the pits and dumping on the
fields. talk about quality of life. if that's not it,
what is? ... don't hang your clothes out on the line, tho ... |

i'm doing ok at the moment. i was in the hospital a couple of
weeks ago, but i'm out now and in a partial hospitalization
day program. today's a day off, and i'm taking full advantage
of it.
hog farm, huh? yuck.
it's good to see you again.

actually, i worked for an old order italian family, madina ferrari,
from milano.
madina was haute-couteur, about 80 years old, wore tight black leather
slacks
and shirt/jacket, and was real touchy-feely .... ewwwwww ....
but, i understand, for a price, they'll will come right to your door,
custom fit
you and teach you how to use them. would you like a referral? |

in the hospital?
surgery?
partial hospitalization?
is that rehab? for what?
jeez, i hope it's all going well for you.
a year ago last may my mom had half of one lung removed.
has osteoporousis and got a compression fracture riding
in my brother-in-laws car when the back struts were
seized up. we can't let her fall, and she forgets to use
her walker or set the brakes when she walks away.
she's been in and out of the hospital at a rate of about
once every three months. she can't be left alone, so we
deal with home health aids and state and local programs
constantly. we dealt with Banker's Life for two years
over a long-term disability insurance dispersal they wouldn't
release (s'posed to be a reputable firm but i wouldn't give
them any money).
so, i hope your situation is much better.
take care of yourself.
it's not HOW you get there that matters so much;
it's where you get TO. |

i was hospitalized for my depression on the psych unit. i had
urges to self-harm that i knew would lead to severe injury, so i
went in (thanks, %, for a nudge in the right direction.) i've
since increased one of my antidepressants and it seems like it's
starting to help. in the meantime, partial 3 days a week helps
to keep me out of trouble.
thanks.
