When I have beer in the refrigerator, I can't resist the temptation to
drink one in the evening. I'd better not buy beer when I go to the grocery
store.

Why are you so concerned with your drinking. From what I can tell you
have one, maybe two at any one time. You should not feel guilty about
that or worry you'll become an alcoholic.

Perhaps not. Any more than one a day on average is excessive, though. I'm
trying to keep it at less than one a day.

to keep a bottle in their room.

I wonder what the hospital charge is for an orderly to head over to the
liquor store. (If these street guys were the type that could pay their
hospital bills).

True, I just have a little history with AA and my personal struggle
with alcohol addiction. I understand the pyisical and psychological
power of addiction (alocohol/drugs/gambling/sex/si and on and on). I
just have an issue with the label of "disease" which is debated with
strong arguments on each side. I should have more clearly stated my
personal thoughts on a complex condition instead of sounding like my
position is correct and you are stupid if you don't agree. I hate
that approach.
