Sorry to disappoint you. Ha, ha.
I was offline for two months after being badly hit by malware. The
computer was still working, but the malware destroyed most of my
drivers. I finally fixed the problem today.
During the involuntary break, I realized that my Internet usage has
changed. I had my RoadRunner speed reduced because I wasn't utilizing
the extra bandwidth and I'm saving 20 bucks a month.

I had plenty
of Net access, when needed, at the library or in my building's
computer center. The latter has a lot of sites blocked, including
Usenet and LiveJournal. We're not even allowed to download anything, I
did that at the library. If you knew my neighbors, you'd understand
why.
Soooo... I haven't had a chance to tell you, until now, that I'm not
going to be around this NG anymore. I've met and (virtually) got to
know some fabulous people over the last ten years. But Usenet has
changed, this group has changed and above all, I've changed. I wanted
to be courteous enough to explain my absence, before and in the
future.
I'm not _even_ considering catching up on posts. Would you after two
months away?
