Default i'm back

got in last night.......went to bed and woke up with the light still on and
the tv going this morning..........

came down with a virus almost as soon as i got there

had one really good night, the first one, drank a couple beers with my son
and played guitars
(which felt weird because i've been playing nothing but sitar lately)
that was alot of fun

doctor appts went really great!
why i was so stressed i'll never know, but i suspect i've been in this
locale for long enough now to pick up on/internalize the general
unfortunate/even scary vibe if you happen to be a chronic pain patient
especially (or any other kinda patient with a fairly serious problem that
lacks specialists here, by choice, me thinks...methama, crackama, yakima is
the treatment center capital of WA..and like religion, all "non-profit"
((yeah right))
...some asshole wanted to send me to treatment once because i admitted taking
one toke off a joint, how lame eh, there's a weird mentality
here).........central wa not a good place to be if you really have much
wrong, thats for sure
if i've learned that lesson more than once, i've definitely learned it
again.............

my old gp laughed when i told him what happened, especially after i said
"well i like to think i canned his ass"
he's been playing harmonica and rhythm guitar in his band, he said they're
playing a party this week, I said 'right on, thats wonderful'
he's been in this band awhile, i remember it was winter the year he tried
out and got in............he took a week off and went to a blues workshop, i
thought that was kinda cool

anyways
i'm back
gonna take a hot shower and get my flannels back on
i feel a bit better than i did but i'm still haggard
swollen glands, small headache, bit of a sore throat, body aches, tired
i had a low grade fever all day tues.
at least thats gone now
shit i even got a cold sore, i hate those bastards grrrrrrr

i'm like SOOOOOOO glad those doctor appts are over....
and i feel stupid for fretting
doctors over there have treated me completely different than those
here..........so far anyways
only one lemon and she wasn't my doctor so i didn't have to put up with her
i had nothing to fear
the doctor at the mmj clinic was a really old guy with white hair and i
liked him alot........
he was pretty common sense and I got a sense of great compassion as well

when i first got to the clinic there were maybe half a dozen
people......then quickly a dozen
by the time i left there had to be at least 50 people there
amazing
wonder how many of us there are here in WA?

went through the process with this gal about my own age from there, we're
emailing back and forth to stay in touch and see how this all goes, trade
info, etc.
she met a renewal patient who told her to avoid one org, they had moldy
medicine which was making people sick.......glad to know about that
thats a crocka shit, no excuse for that
it was nice to meet somebody new in the same boat

anyways
it all went alright, I just wish i hadn't gotten sick
I may end up having to go back again soon, don't know for sure,
yet........in order to get hooked up with this one outfit over
there.........

ok
hope everybody's doing justa dandy!

anything exciting happen whilst i've been gone?!

has % been a good kid
is he snowed in yet?
i missed him the most

Howdy, justa! Welcome back.

Glad to hear things went a lot better than you had hoped. It'll be good
for you to have someone to share info with. When do you start your new
med regimen?

Immediately! : )
boy am i glad I went over there instead of mucking about here.........!!!

Yes, I'm really glad I met that gal, we've been trading email off and on all
day, had one waiting for me when I got home.........thats really the best
way, word of mouth
I sure don't want moldy medicine
Got enough allergy/health problems as is

I sure learned a lotta stuff over there : )
and it really doesn't HAVE to be complicated
I can grow killer tomatoes ; )

How's my good bud Bored To Tears doin' this week?
I hope you haven't been bored to tears
>g<

at the very least, i hope its been a relatively ok week

I have some xanex coming, i think I'll take one at bedtime
tonight........now that I'm an established patient, I think I'll have alot
less anxiety, just take a bit to back off all the way, its all still kinda
new to me, this mmj stuff........I really wasn't sure just what to expect,
but I must say I sure was happy it all went the way it did.........

My anxiety definitely had something to do with me catching this
virus............if it goes on at a certain level for too long, no matter
how much cognitive shit I practice, it'll start manifesting
physically............I get run down and whammo! here we go..........I hate
that
mostly because i can't control my body
with some meds i can manage with my mind (most of the time) but my body
doesn't wanna listen...........
i hope you know what i mean

well it sure is good to see ya!

justa : )

I'm really glad it worked out the way it did, justa.

I'm bumping along, hanging in there. Do you know if the mmj will help
with your anxiety? I've tried it before and I know that, apart from
giving me a migraine, I felt pretty calm! ;o)

yeah i've noticed it does help somewhat.......but i also think it would
depend upon my enviornment, too
I've heard alot of people say though that it does indeed help their anxiety
(definitely not the ones who get paranoid, haven't ran into very many of
those even over the years but everybody's different)

if i'm in a place thats gonna give me the willies, welp then it won't
help...........i don't think it seems to make it any worse but it doesn't
make it any better.....but then when I get anxiety and it hits a certain
level, i'm a goner unless i take a xanex............
it seems to help my older brother alot that way, no matter where he
is..........and he doesn't take xanex
He's on effexor and I don't know all what, quite a few things........i can't
keep track

its a helluva antispasmodic, thats for sure
maybe i won't have to take so much flexeril, that'd be great! deep muscle
relaxation

sorry it gave you a migraine, thats major suckage!

The anti-spasmodic thing is interesting, my dad suffers from spasms in

after 54 years when his breathing began to get very wheezy. It's much
better now, though.
