I haven't made much progress in that area lately.

I think a part (only a part of it but a part) is
that cleaing up/decluttering means admitting you
yourself that you been "wrong" and "bad" for so
long, and you don't want to admit that, even though
you have been berating yourself and telling yourself
what a mess you are for years ... if you see what
I mean.

The "you" is the generic non-referring you, or
referring to myself, not to the OP or anyone else
here.
