So often it's easy to forget how beautiful nature is... the rocks,
the trees, the grass, the ocean, the sun shining through the clouds...
it really is beautiful...

Its all about the light, the early morning light is the best, the
way it attaches itself to things, so they look lit from within, It
is devastating sometimes, the littlest thing in nature like the
perfect raindrops on a rose bush glittering in the sun, it is all so
much more beautiful then anything we could ever have imagined for
ourselves. The spark of the divine, I don't know sometimes I think
so. hi, jill |

Of course it's easy to forget, what with all the falling rocks, falling
trees, crabgrass, drownings, and melanoma. |

I drove up into Mass. today, everything is at peak. I love the woods in
the Fall, no bugs. I want to see the South, never been past New
Jersey. Tennessee must be great. |

That's exactly right, jill. That low, winter sun lights things like at
no other time of the year. And then, on a clear night, the glory of the
Milky Way. Like the sea, it draws my worries out and washes them away.
I can be so focused on my senses that I "lose" myself; time doesn't
matter anymore, only the moment. Life can be crap sometimes, but this
world can be heart-breakingly beautiful. |

To me it feels like the oceans and the stars are speaking to
me.Speaking to some ancient memory embedded in my dna. Making contact
with the part of me that is also part of them. I feel like I am
just along for the ride, crazy I know |

Not crazy in the slightest, jill. We're all made of elements that were
created in the hearts of giant stars billions of years ago: we *are*
Stardust! And life began in the oceans and perhaps there's an ancient
"race-memory" that draws us back.
We, too often, forget that we are a part of this world, not the
overlords and masters of it. |
