mine doesn't like my router (separate thing) and DHCP just doesn't work,
and I can't ever get to my routers homepages, so i've disconnected it
and am waiting for one of those times when i won't shout at the person
asking me to try what i've already tried 20 times..... and breath....

I love sitting on the phone and clipping my toenails while they run
through their "troubleshooting" script before getting to what I finally
want.

I spent about 20 minutes on the phone with Comcast just repeatedly lying
that their "self install" software wasn't working so that the guy would
just register the damn cable modem because I *really* don't want their
crap-ware. (Oooh neato, I'm a Comcast customer *AND* my IE logo is now
the Comcast logo...I'm SO glad I pay them!!)
