self hate is indeed unhealthy

sometimes I envy those with 'real' reasons for it.
the usual "be nice to yourself" answers don't
help a bit.

right now I'm just mostly tired. might fall
throught to Plan S and just sleep.

i don't seem to hate myself anymore
i realize there will always be greater and lesser than myself and i also
realize as a human being i'm ok

It's so nice to hear that someone else feels this way. The other day my
best friend told me that I have to reason to be so hateful to myself
and that I am pretty, smart, successful and kind. It almost makes me
feel worse to hear all of this because I just can't bring myself to
believe that she is being genuine. It sucks man.

I think a big part of the problems in the world come from a lack of
self esteem... My self esteem is often very low, despite the fact that
I know that all the messages in "the self esteem workbook" are very
true... Self esteem has to be about knowing that your inner core is
perfect... but still, truly believing that on a deep level is extremly
difficult... I know that depression and self esteem are not always
connected, but I would guess that a large number of depressed people
have low self esteem, and a large number of people with low self esteem
are depressed... I guess it's all about finding out how to raise your
self esteem... I don't mean self esteem in terms of self defeating
pride, what I'm speaking of is healthy self esteem...

yeah its one thing not to hate yourself but you still gotta have some self
esteem
(is that the same as self like?)
