It sucks because I'm lazy and I hate to work. The fact that it's low
status doesn't bother me, I find it amusing. Actually, I find it a
plus, because it makes the competition a little easier. Veyr high
calibre people don't generally seek out this line of work.

For the most part I enjoy it. I think I want to get out of it, I'm
realizing it's not my "passion". I read the trade mags, and I don't get
all tingly reading them. I'm almost 40 and I'm a failure though, I
don't know if I can do anything else at this point.

Ask me next month. I will know by then if I was accepted for one of the two
jobs I've just applied for.

I think it's different in the UK than in the US. There is a lot of
meritocracy here, I've seen it first hand many times. From what I've
read, class counts for a lot more over there than over here.

sometimes it's all too easy to start comparing yourself to someone
else...........and forget you're needed just as you are

Huh, that surprises me about Australia. Why not move to Canada - is it
a money thing, or just a big leap to make?

Tell them you're sympathetic to Al Queda and you want to wage jihad
against the infidels in the US.
