no, that's just it...she's outside! if she was in, i was automatically
assume it was her, of course. which makes me realize then that someone
could break in and i'd just ignore it if the cat was inside cuz i'd assume

I've been creeped out occasionally by the sound of the metal lined
fireplace creaking and popping hours after the fire has died down.

I've burned about 20 cardboard boxes tonight. I sat close by so I could
take immediate action if they warped while burning and fell into the
screen. I think I must have a sun tan by now.
