We bb-q in the snow too. We went out a few weeks ago, when gas went
down to $2, and filled our containers up. Gotta be prepared for
anything. Sometimes I wouldn't mind if we were stranded here. Then we
wouldn't have to face all the a-holes in town.

we don't have too many a's in town ,
i think they've all been pretty much weeded out ,
i've only been seriously stranded maybe three times in 10 years ,
and it is kind of fun , it makes me wonder how the did 50 years ago ,
or maybe 100 years ago , but i suppose they had sleighs and horses

I'm reading a book, "The Children's
Blizzard", about the severe winter of
1888 in the northwestern U.S. states.
Lotsa folks, and other animals, froze to
death or starved. So I turned up the
heat and ate oatmeal. And it ain't even
snowin' here.

I don't live too far from city limits. Its mostly farm land & flat as
hell too. Wind blows somethin fierce here. If it weren't for my job I
would probably live further out. I wonder why sometimes why I work so
hard for the things I have and if I really need them. I have a place in
northern Mich. on a little river. I have a fantasy of living up there
off the land. Maybe in my next life.

I have a hoodie sweatshirt (just like
the one Bill Belichick, the Patriots
coach wears!). It comes down to my knees
and is kinda like wearing a quilt.
