Default Taking a break

x-no-archive: yes

Sorry, thought I was up for it, but I'm not unfortunately. If anyone
wants to run with the idea of the code-word please be my guest. I
still think it could be a very good idea for some people.

In fact, I hope that somebody might feel as strongly about it as I
still do, but can take the flack and fall-out a little bit better than
I can at this point in time.

Mark, I can see your point, (please read my reply) and it is not
because of your feed-back that I'm taking shelter. (just wanted you to
know this)

When I feel a bit more together I'll jump right back on in. I'll miss
your company and wish you all well.

G

Aw, Grace, I *really* wish you wouldn't do this. Please, come on. I
really wish you could summon the strength to continue an open public
discussion of your idea evem if you might find people like me
disagreeing. And to address one obvious problem the hell with
"Persent", he'll troll anything, absolutely anything, just fucking
ignore him. From what I've seen, I've disagreed but a number of others
think your idea is great. Come on, Grace. Hang in there. If it works,
it works, if not, you had the courage and creativity to try something
new, and I for one respect and admire you for that.

Daffodil. Person to person, to you. Don't run away like this, please.

That's right, this is not a war, she is not a deserter.

WHAT THE FUCK IS YOUR PROBLEM? My post was 100% supportive of Grace and
she knows it. Call it running away or not, the fact is she's
withdrawing from the group because of some things that upset her, and I
was just urging her not to let one or two (or one) assholes get to her
to the point where she feels she has to leave. You seem to be trying to
turn my post into some kind of insult, and that's just ridiculous. Take
thou the Pill of Chilling and go enjoy a good cascade somewhere.

I don't have a problem.
You said she was running away. Making a decision to do something
and running away because you can't handle what is going on are two very
different things. You said she was running away. I don't agree. I
think she is making a decision to do what is best for her right now.

Now your trying to back away from what you said like you always do.
You are trying to play it like running away and withdrawing are the
same thing when we both know that is not true.
I am not trying to hurt you I just think this is an important
distinction . I know I but the hell out of you but I can't help it ,
thats just how it is, jill

Whatever.

Oh for God's sake. My post is still up there, it says what it says and
what it says is completely obvious. Google it if that will help. I'm
not "backing away" from anything.

The only "hurt" you're causing me is what comes from stifling the urge
to call you a complete moron. Again, you're trying to turn a purely
supportive post into some kind of insult, but you can't, because it
isn't. I saw your earlier "pro-daffodil" post so I suppose you're
trying to play some sort of "I'm more supportive of Grace than you"
game and it's just juvenile and not at all respectful of me or Grace.

everything is a war with you. I hae a valid point which you are
completely ignoring. Instead you just want to call me a moron. fine
your right whatever. It says what it says and what it says is
completely obvious. what the hell does that even mean. So your
sticking by what you said before. that withdrawing and running away
are the same thing.? well they are not and thats a fact. I didn't
want this to get ugly. jeeezzz. I think the truth here is
completely obvious and I am so done .. jill

It means that I wrote this:

>> Aw, Grace, I *really* wish you wouldn't do this. Please, come
>> on. I really wish you could summon the strength to continue an
>> open public discussion of your idea even if you might find
>> people like me disagreeing. And to address one obvious problem,

And it pretty obviously means this:

>> Aw, Grace, I *really* wish you wouldn't do this. Please, come
>> on. I really wish you could summon the strength to continue an
>> open public discussion of your idea even if you might find
>> people like me disagreeing. And to address one obvious problem,

Hope this helps,

all I ever wanted was to get you to recognize that runnning away and
making a decision to withdraw from a situation are not synonomous.
thats all.
all this crap about this being about who is more supportive of grace
is all in your head.
I was not questioning your intent. I do think you intended good
things for grace.
I think we should just agree that we will never agree on anything.
I wil stay out of your way and you can please stay out of mine. I
don't think even wikipedia can save you this time. jill

show me how I am wrong. present an argument that shows how I am wrong.
don't get vulgar and mudsling. Show me how I am wrong. I will
admit I am wrong. I am good at that. Just show me how I am wrong.
anybody can be vulgar , that doesn't mean you win.

I have no interest in "winning". I have nothing to "lose". I have no
interest in trying to prove anything to or about you. I don't give a
flying fuck about how you think I should interpret the phrase "run
away" in this context. You injected your obnoxious little self into
this thread in response to a purely Grace-supportive post of mine,
making a ridiculous big stink about how you didn't like one phrase I
used, and all I care about at this point is making it crystally clear
that I think you're a complete ass for doing so. Now take your snitty
little glob of indignation and stick it where the sun don't shine.

Have a nice day.

Thats the interesting thing about the term run away. It pretty much
means the same thing no matter where you put it. It is not subject
to much interpetation.

you're asking for something too finalizing ,
how will that keep you coming back ,
and keeping you coming back is the prime directive ,
i don't read many books and i read magazines from back to front ,
if i do read a book , its usually about a specific discipline and
educational , college course text books and that sort of thing
