Default They Didn't Have Chicken Fingers When I Was a Kid...

What did my parents feed me? That's like 80% of kids diets these
days. I remember bologna sandwiches and a lot of hot dogs.

Yes, lots of t.v. dinners in the foil compartmentalized plates with
desert.

I've heard of, and eaten lots of, fish fingers. But chicken fingers?!
Who makes such a thing? And how much chicken is in them? More
importantly, which bits of the chicken? Beaks and arseholes?

My parents fed me home-made soups, casseroles and roasts with loads of
bread to make it all go further. My favourite childhood food is
soft-boiled eggs all mashed up in a cup with butter and white pepper,
served with toast soldiers and a glass of milk. Mmmm, mush.

From Wik...

"The meat of the nugget may also be comprised of a reconstituted meat
slurry."

Slurry...well that sounds completely disgusting...

Hot dogs... My mom did a lot of Campbell soup. Other then that, home
cooked meals, fast food, microwaves, etc wasn't really an option when I was
growing up. We thought it was cool if we got TV dinners.
