Persent was out of line. it takes some objectivity and logic, and that is

You're still not getting it. They don't dislike you, they dislike your
behavior. And your behavior is quite often atrocious. But you know
this, of course, because you do it on purpose in order to get people to
do exactly what they are doing right now in the Thor thread. |

i think all you're able to see is people liking or not liking you, and how
good you think the ones who don't like you are at convincing other people
not to like you. that's what you think has gone on in the thor thread, and
that's what you think you're good at, because you have no compunction about
telling any lie about people that suits you, and repeating it endlessly in a
relentless campaign to make it seem true. what you're good at is garbage,
among the lowest forms of adult behavior, and that's not what has gone on in
the thor thread. you see it that way because you have the emotional capacity
of a dishonest little kid. |

| | | Re: Thor thread- focus on support Hello,
I'm new to the depression "support" group but have been going through
other threads to hear what is being discussed. This thread (or some
members in the group) do not seem to be focused on helping one
another-it sounds dysfunctional and/or recreational on some strange
level. This is a group for depressed people, right? When people are
depressed they need support-not judgements and put downs. I'd suggest
this thread find another topic that might actually be helpful to people
and most of all, supportive. Be gentle with each other and be helpful
or just listen. Otherwise, it becomes a toxic chain and a waste of
time. Please vent and save sarcasim for your therapist to get to the
bottom of your issues not the group or individual members. You and I
are not therapists so your words could be very damaging to someone
trying to deparately be understood. If you don't like what they have to
say-say nothing and keep to a supportive topic or get in touch with
another thread.

Dear Sam,
Yes, this is a group for depressed people. Specifically, depressed
people who frequently engage in dysfunctional and/or recreational
interactions. Please vent and save your disapproval of this behavior
for your therapist, not the group or individual members. If you don't
like what we have to say, say nothing and keep to a supportive topic or
get in touch with another thread.
And be sure to take your medications as prescribed.
Sincerely,
Mark
