you are fine just the way you... there is nothing worng with being
weird... everyone is weird, whether they admit it or not... you just
have to be you, yourself, your own unique self... and If people don't
accept that, that is theire problem...

i think it's good to go against the grain. we have enough cookie cutter
people in this world.

Why try to change how you are just to please others? They'll change
their mind again in five minutes anyway. If how you behave here is
"weird" then I like "weird". Don't stop being "weird". And if you are
"weird" then I'm a fecking nut. You now that Simpsons' episode where
they do The Shining and Homer goes nuts? I'm doing what he did, right
now. "Heeeeerrrreeeee's Johnny!". Need to get meself and axe...

I'm happy to hear that. partly I try to give similiar advise to
other people that I give myself(provided that it applies of course)...
I know I need to remind myself of the same "be yourself" message as
much as possible... the other thing is that I, and a lot of other
people, I believe, can tell that you are a free spirit, and it's always
awful too see the world try to repress a free spirit...

I am too... for many years, I would pull my hair out and eat it,
I've always had long conversations with myself out loud, though I've
tried to stop them lately... I bite my nails and rip up napkins... I
guess a lot of that has to do with anxiety, as much as weirdness...
I've always had a lot of anxiety... I think that's partly why I'm so
pro being calm and relaxed and pro not being old fashioned... because
I'm uncomfortable with all the parts of myself that are anxious and old
fashioned... I think often when people make us uncomfortable, it's
because we see in them a lot of parts of ourselves that make us
uncomfortable... but in terms of general "weirdness", I think it's
human... If you are a human being, you are weird by defintion... and
who after all decides what is "normal" and what is "weird"... those are
extremly subjective words who's defintions vary a great deal from
culture to culture... and who decides that "weird" is a negative thing?
