A cabin on 7 acres in Vermont with a stream, no nosy neighbors where I
could plant the kind of garden I'm good at. I'm dangling a
preposition. I'll wear a long coat and no one will notice. My friend
wrote me yesterday from the road, in a band. Drove from Nevada to
Vancouver, played there , and was driving to Seattle last night.
anyway, says the RV is like riding a loaf of bread on pogo sticks.

Me too. A lot of the music I like listening to is out of print so I
can't buy it even when I do have the money, so I have to trade what I do
buy to get the stuff I can't. I don't see any problem with it, and I'm
sure the musicians wouldn't mind my doing that.

No, it's J. Had some health problems, on the mend. E showed up at the
Texas shows last year, first time the brothers on stage together in 20
years, my friend said he felt he was involved in an historical Rock and
Roll moment. I have been invited, haven't gone yet. Texas again in 2
weeks, hometown. J lives here near us, has jammed in local clubs
secretly for 30 years.

Before I got married I would buy old LPs off eBay and collect them, but
its a pain to make those digital, and it's not like the musicians make
any money off of eBay sales anyways.

I asked my friend (WJ) how J was doing last year....he said, "He's
smokin' on HW 61".

Weird, that was WJ's favorite album when we were kids, and I wasn't
into it. Then he gets the call 30 years later....(great drummer, on
last album). Photos by his wife, my friend too.

the muscians make enough money ,
that my two's and fews downloads won't hurt much ,
and their real money is in shows anyway ,
besides most of the guys i load are dead ,
so the money isn't going to them anyway

My home phone has really poor quality, but you can call my voicemail and
play your banjo on that. It'll even record a .wav that I can send to
you.

I sat down and learned the lead to the original R&R hoo. Koo, off a
black and white album, in 1971 or so. I still practice it, for when he
signs one of my guitars. I'll be an idiot and say, "Hey, nice to meet
you, listen to this...."then I'll F*&k it up.
