I have read several posts about Bruces commentments about people
asking for money. I can understand his feeling here. Its hard not
to, there are so many cons going on trying to take advantage of
folks. There was something on the news not to long ago about some
internet scam that says you have inherited some money for a family
member in Eygpt, or Africa, you can have the money but have to sent
some first for paperwork. When I was at the Red Cross, we put up a
couple who said they were from new orleans for a couple of weeks, gave
them vouchers for clothes, vouchers for food, gas money. It was all a
scam. As one writer said, give the guy a break. Its good to have an
opinion and to voice it, however, there is always a time that could be
more appropriate. I'm in trouble here, and looking for a way to
figure some things out, put my life back together, see my boys again,
to sleep through the night. I'm hoping I find what I need here. I'm
not a stupid man, but I have no clue about carb counting, if something
the size of your palm that's a serving. I need to eat better. Here's
my plan Eat better >> Feel better >> control of diabetes/depression
>> Improving my daily life >>> Seeing my boys. One builds on
another. My history is I start well, but find a way to stop. That
probably is my biggest problem my worst character flaw, I need to do
better. Can we just stop this money talk, and focus on the support.
I know that my actions here are self centered, I'm in no position to
provide you all the support and knowledgable advice that you provide
me. I can promise you that I will not ask for money, and will try to
return to you what you have given to me. I know a bunch of jokes,
good for a smile maybe. I like to talk about anything, so what do you
say? Now I think I did this right, so that it goes out to all of
you. I answered all the posts I recieved individualily, that takes a
lot of time, especially when some kid who is sitting a the computer
next to me is listening to some thrast metal music and it blarring out
of the head phones. At one point in my life I was that dude. man...
