I made some Asian-style soup last night. In particular I used some dry,
extra-firm tofu. My wife had some and did ok until she began on the tofu.
She almost immediately spit out the tofu because her throat began to close
up, just a little, as soon as she began chewing and swallowing it.
She's never had an allergic reaction to tofu, though it's not her favorite
food by any means.
Is there that big a difference between soft and extra-firm tofu?
