False high albumin count

What's up with this? I get a urine sample analyzed at the doctor's
officer that reads 300 for albumin. I take another test the following
day and it's completely normal. Anyone have that happen?

Yes, but not over 24 hours, more like 2 weeks. My endo never takes a
one-off microalbumin test as gospel. It's 2 bad out of 3 for her. I
attribute the high reading to a particularly high protein meal the
evening before the test.

A 24 hour collection is the most accurate.
