Medicare May Add to List of No-Pay Hospital Errors

Last year, Medicare said it would stop paying hospitals to treat
certain conditions that arise after patients are admitted to the
hospital and tend to be caused by poor hospital care. Now the feds say
they may expand the program to more than double the number of
hospital-associated conditions that won’t be reimbursed.
