If you are talking to me the answer is no.
We have had rain and fog for three days now.
The forecast for here in Iowa is highs in the upper 30s and lows in
the upper 20s and low 30s for the next week. Don't know if has a thing
to do with global warming, but normally we would have had at least one
snow deep enough to have to plow the streets and shovel the walks. Any
kids getting sleds or ice skates this year are going to have to wait a
while longer.

Thank you Craig. We sent a card off via air mail to a friend in NSW on
Monday. I have no idea how long it will take to get there, but she and
her hubby will appreciate it just as much when it does arrive.

Laurie and I stay home with our pets. All of my kids have plans of
their own. We will be getting a phone call from our daughter,
son-in-law and two granddaughters right after they open their gifts.
They live in western Colorado.

Quite often Laurie's brother will call on Christmas eve to say they
are having a family dinner on Christmas. By that time our turkey is
thawed and ready for the oven, etc. My oldest son with sometimes do
the same thing. We have tried to tell them we need at least a few days
notice but they either aren't listening or don't care.

Laurie and I will have a very good time anyway. A few years back we
had a very adventurous day that could have ended in tragedy but
didn't. In fact by late afternoon she and I were laughing almost
hysterically about it. I wrote it up for a Christmas letter the next
year. I should see if I still have it on the computer and post it
here. We still talk about the fire in the oven, the flood in the
kitchen and the burnt rutabaga casserole. Maybe that is why our
dinners are simpler and I don't bake pies in paper bags anymore. LOL
