They're all similar. Look at the amount of fiber on the labels to make sure
that you are getting an appropriate dose. And make sure you're drinking
enough water.

I use the cheaper natural version in the form of psyllium
husk, which is like a light brown powder, which I add to my
evening cereal. It's metamucil without the flavourings and
sweeteners (and price:-).

I usually get around 25 - 30 grams of fiber a day.
Bran and plenty of low carb veggies works great for that. No need to buy
any of that stuff.
but have been known to keep some metamucil around for those low carb days
when I dont get my 25-30 grams of fiber.

Some of us (certainly me, for example) aren't so good at eating all those
veggies.
