I get out of bed... onto the treadmill for 20 mins on a moderate speed.
Then, a typical breakfast for me is protein enriched (cos carby foods first
thing shoot my bg up).
2 slices of lean bacon (grilled), 1 poached egg, some mushrooms and half a
slice of linseed/soya bread, toasted.
A side dish of natural yoghurt with a couple of slices of pear or kiwi fruit
to follow.
I dont spike at all at this point.
Sometimes, I will have a bowl of Allbran with about 8 raisins in it (too
much dried fruit spikes me!) and some semi-skimmed milk (cant cope with soya
milk and skimmed milk is like drinking white water!!! UCK!).
If I didnt fit in the treadmill first thing, I make sure I get that hour
long brisk walk in an hour after breakfast. |
