Default To Michelle C.

Thanks for the heads up about the cheerios. I thought I picked the one with
hardly anything in it. I have not opened the cheerios yet. I am on my way
to work and will swap for Special K. I think I would like that better
anyway. I will give it a try.

Hi Donna,

Great idea. Ray, a fellow ASDer, reports having good luck with
Special K High Protein.

Test at 1 and 2 hours after eting that cereal. I can't tolerte any unless
I take a nice walk right after breakfast.

My favorite breakfast, that works FOR ME is 1/4/1/3 C low fat cottage
cheese, small amounts of 3-4 fruits, like 3 strawberries, aa handful of
other berries, 1/2 a clementine orange, 1/4 or an apple, 1/5-1/6 of a
mango, 1/2 peach, 1 apricot, etc, but NO BANANA and I top this with
1/4-1/3 cup of low fat plain yogurt. I have this with my srystal ligh
morning stuff fake no-carb orange drink to wash my pill down, ane my
black coffee.

An alternte breakfast is an egg beaters or egg white omelette with soem
cheese or veggies in it, 2 Was crackers wih no tranfat soft margarine adn
some od m home made no sugar added jam (You cna use the Smuckers no sugar
added jams), along with that same orange drink and coffee.

I get out of bed... onto the treadmill for 20 mins on a moderate speed.

Then, a typical breakfast for me is protein enriched (cos carby foods first
thing shoot my bg up).

2 slices of lean bacon (grilled), 1 poached egg, some mushrooms and half a
slice of linseed/soya bread, toasted.

A side dish of natural yoghurt with a couple of slices of pear or kiwi fruit
to follow.

I dont spike at all at this point.

Sometimes, I will have a bowl of Allbran with about 8 raisins in it (too
much dried fruit spikes me!) and some semi-skimmed milk (cant cope with soya
milk and skimmed milk is like drinking white water!!! UCK!).

If I didnt fit in the treadmill first thing, I make sure I get that hour
long brisk walk in an hour after breakfast.
