Which neuropathy do you have?
Anyone have autonomic symptoms, or just dead feet?
I have vision problems, gastrop.,sicca.
More importantly, what have you done about it?

I have none but here is a cocktail that has been used by some people in the
past (and probably current times) with success.

Feet and lower legs.
For that I take Evening Primrose Oil and ALA. But most of all I tried to
keep my BG in check.
Also stomach. For that I watch what I eat. No foods with a lot of fiber.
No hard to digest meats. I also take Metoclopramide.

Fiber slows blood glucose spikes, why no fiber?
What is Metoclopramide?

Because I have gastroparesis. That's damage to the vagus nerve of the
stomach and that in turn causes slowed digestion. I can only eat easy to
digest foods or risk a bezoar. That's a food ball much like a hair ball in
a cat. If I get one it must be surgically removed.
Metoclopramide speeds up digestion.

My feet aren't dead for the most time. Sometimes part or all of them
are pretty numb. Usually it is burning, hurting, pincushion.
It is a lot better than it has been at times, in the past.
I was told by the DR some time ago the Gall Bladder problem I have might
be linked to Neuropathy. It might somehow be responsible for the recent
very bad bowel episode. If they hadn't got the tube down me a little
longer who knows. The pain was such I wanted to die.
Some times my feet and legs don't bother me very much or at all.

How can gallbladder cause neuropathy? Please explain.

No. Neuropathy was possibly affecting the Gall bladder. He wasn't
conclusive. I don't know if they can tell for sure. My doctor left and
it hasn't been addressed since.

yes I had gallstones back in my twenties (yet another thing I was told
categorically I didn't have - I keep the stones in a jar to bring out
whenever any more doctors tell me categorically I am not ill)
One factor was obviously the crap lipids the doctor knew about but
refused to tell me about, but I've read that neuropathy affecting the
gallbladder contractions is often a factor.
Yet another disease which is commoner in diabetics and also people who
are "not diabetic yet"
