Default New Ascensia Breeze meter

FYI:
If you already own a Ascensia Breeze Meter, you can upgrade to the new
Breeze2 meter for free. www.breezeupgrade.com It has 5 sec. results now, a
smaller sample and now will remember 420 results. It will use the old
Autodisc you already have too. Mine came in less then a week. YMMV

I got one of these new Breeze 2 free upgrades, too. I was noticing
that the readings are consistently lower on the new meter. I tested
with both meters only seconds apart and got results from 5 to 40 pts
difference. I'm not sure what to make of it. Right about the same
time I was noticing my numbers creeping upwards on the old meter, with
no known changes in my diet/exercise routine. Anyone else have this
experience or am I just weird? I do like the new meter. Faster and
lower numbers, Hey!

I tried my new one against the old one and they were very close(4,5 points).
I used a autodisc from my current lot in the new meter, although they send
me a disc. I turned my lance to the highest setting and feed both meters
with the same blood sample. My old meter had the lower readings, but 4,5
points isn't worth worrying about.YMMV

Thanks so much for the information. I have been using the Breeze for
about 8 months and I love it. No coding and no more strips to deal
with. My arthritis thinks this is great. The disc I can handle but the
strips I kept dropping. These meters are great.

I agree. They sent me one and I loved it. I used up the disk that came with
it. Next time I go for strips I'm gonna have my doc change my prescription
from the One Touch to the Breeze2.
