Boy do I hear that. Right now, our day time temps are hitting almost 90 and
the AM temps are around 60. When I first moved here, I opened my windows in
the AM to cool off the house. Now I don't because of the new & improved
allergies. Unless the ragweed is out, I don't usually whine about it
though. I'm not having to take shots, and an over the counter
anti-histamine usually takes care of the symptoms I do have. However, I
have fond memories of when I first moved to the desert and had NO allergies.
It was heaven.

The ragweed won't last long, but we'll get another dose in late summer. Our
tree pollen count is on the way down.

They did help, even for several years after discontinuing after I moved.

Sympathies to all you allergy sufferers.

I usually get some mild reaction to a particular grass species around
June but some years I seem to get a generalised snuffle when the
pollen levels are high.

For some reason this seems to be happening now, there's a lot of tree
pollen and the rape fields are in flower though this year the'yre more
distant than last year. Grass hasn't really started yet but something
is making the air a bit thick and precipitating dust all over the car.

We just came back from driving around listening to Nightingales and
Nightjars and I noticed mother was wheezing somewhat more than usual
too.

So anyway there was a TV programme a while back about Mulberry trees,
apparently the Queen has one, but the biggest Mulberry is elsewhere,
or as the interviewer described it

"It's even bigger than the Queen's bush"
