OT: Because this is sweet

My Mom in Law mailed this to me. I thought I would share because I
think it's kind of sweet.

When I'm an old lady, I'll live with each kid,
And bring so much happiness ... just as they did.
I want to pay back all the joy they've provided.
Returning each deed! Oh, they'll be so excited!

When I'm an old lady and live with my kids.
I'll write on the walls with reds, whites and blues,
And I'll bounce on the furniture wearing my shoes.

I'll drink from the carton and then leave it out.
I'll stuff all the toilets and oh, how they'll shout!

When I'm an old lady and live with my kids.
When they're on the phone and just out of reach,
I'll get into things like sugar and bleach.
Oh, they'll snap their fingers and then shake their
head,
When I' m an old lady and live with my kids.

When they cook dinner and call me to eat,
I'll not eat my green beans or salad or meat,
I'll gag on my okra, spill milk on the table,
And when they get angry... I'll run .. if I'm able!

When I'm an old lady and live with my kids.
I'll sit close to the TV, through channels I'll click,
I'll cross both eyes just to see if they stick.
I'll take off my socks and throw one away,
And play in the mud 'til the end of the day!

When I'm an old lady and live with my kids.
And later in bed, I'll lay back and sigh,
I'll thank God in prayer and then close my eyes.
My kid's will look down with a smile slowly creeping,
And say with a groan,
"She's so sweet when she's sleeping!"

I notice that sometimes my news server doesn't pick up your posts. For
example, in today's thread by Susan on "High bread/cereal ..." your posts
were missing, while I could see others replying to you. Do you post from
more than one server or name/email or it is really my server not getting
your posts? I do have a rather large KF working and I'm wondering if maybe
I managed to KF you undername another posting name/email?

Hi Roger,

At work and when I am on my laptop, I use newsfeeds.com as my usenet server.

At home on the family desktop, I use cox.net....

I have always listed my email in my posting ID as wmmckee@cox.net, no matter
which server I am using. Occasionally, however, I will resort to google
groups, when newsfeeds is down, where my email shows up as
mckee.wm@gmail.com

For the sake of uniformity, I recently put Will, T2 in my ID, no matter
which computer I am using, along with the email address (wmmckee@cox.net),
rather than W.M.McKee..

Right now, I am at the office and on my laptop.

Earlier this morning, at least part of the time, I was using the laptop,
because a houseguest was using my other computer at home.

Sorry if I have made life unnecessarily difficult....

Hi Roger,

I am reposting the response just wrote and posted via newsfeeds.com, as
a test. If it shows up in your reader with me using google and does not
show up with the newsfeeds.com server, you may have a clue to the
problem.... Also, you could have inadvertently blocked everyone using
newsfeeds. Some servers allow one to do that. The post of mine to which
you responded, and therefore must have seen, was sent using the cox.net
server....

Oh I think I'll read that out to mother when she's being particularly
cantankerous

they missed out the one where she puts on all her outdoor clothes half
an hour before I'm ready, and sits on the bed, then just as I'm
finishing whatever I'm doing and am ready to take her out, she
suddenly has to go to the bathroom for the next half hour . . .
