Thanks Susan, The reason I ask is that I wrote something about today
being September 11th and am surprised that no one commented. I,
therefore, thought that perhaps I wasnt being seen because this is such
an important anniversary for all Americans.

Gee guys I hope the 9/11 post shows up. I asked for a moment of silence
in honor of all the dead victims of that horrific day.

I guess cause I live in New York, with Susan and Wendy, we feel it more.

I know how devastating it was for me when I saw it on the news as it was
happening so you three and the horror of seeing and knowing had to be
unbelievable and even more devastating. Yes I do think it may have hit New
Yorkers with more impact.

I saw your post, Loretta and I appreciate you making it. I've taken
more than a moment of silence today for the victims. There were many
people affected by that terrible day and I don't think one has to live
in New York to realize how devastating it was. We are a Unted States
and any attack is an attack on us all.

I saw it. It is just that there isn't much to say anymore. Even the
survivors are avoiding public memorials. I think most people do think about
it, everyone I spoke to yesterday here (was the 11th for us yesterday)
mentioned the significance of the date. Most are no doubt quietly
remembering and reflecting. The events are definitely remembered.

Jan, I was watching a show where a reporter outside an LA nightclub,
were asking these young girls, what year was 9/11 and not one knew what
year it was. When asked name all the children of Angelina Jolie and
Brad Pitt, there wasnt a problem.

It made me sick. The younger generation, early twenties, is getting
dumber and dumber, It wasnt that long ago that they cant remember
unless they are all drugged and alcoholed up.

Sad state of affairs.

Just the way December 7,1941 will go down in infamy
so does
September 11, 2001
