Default [OT] Yellowstone

I've posted some photos of our recent trip to Yellowstone Park on my web
site - www.rcarter.net/local.html and take the last link on the page.

BTW - one thing I found out this year - from April 1st to the third
Thursday in April there is no motorized traffic allowed on most of
Yellowstone's roads. This is after the snow season and before they start
opening for summer traffic - basically this period is available for 'hike
and bike' folks. Our local paper had a nice article last spring. I'm
planning a bicycle ride from West Yellowstone in to Madison Junction (14
miles each way) and maybe down to Fountain Flats if I last that long.
Would be happy to arrange a date that any of you could make if interested.
You could e-mail me - ray at rcarter dot net.

Fantastic Ray ... I can see why you like the off season. Liked the
"moody" shots, the icicles and Jenny lake in particular.

thanks much

cheers

Thanks. I don't even pretend to be a great photographer, but I sure do
have fun. I recently purchased a Kodak P850 - 5 mp with 12x zoom - hope to
capture some good wildlife shots on our May trip to Yellowstone.

Ray, don't be so modest you take fantastic photo's. Here is a website
that you may be interested. They even have an ongoing contest with
some realy nice prizes. I would enter but my photos always look like I
was in a middle of an earthquack while shooting.
