Diana, I wish I had never posted in this mess.
Any drug can do harm to certain people.
My impression is that drug companies like to sell
and they want to expand their market.
If Metaformin is for
insulin resistance, it should
not do a T1 any good.
I reposted recently the problems I had with it
and the information I was given.
The problem in posting the details is
it may be picked by some one and misused.
The crux of my problem I was a Ti that
developed in mid life. Docs ASSUMED I was a T2.
In my opinion is---if you are using Metaformiin and
it helps it is not a bad thing for you.
In my case it was the key to my unconscious hypos
for many years including two in the last twelve months.
Most people can use it with benefit.
The reason why I am adamant abut the proper tests
be performed on a diabetic
Please do not participate in the inane argument going on now.
It is a total waste
Most will regret this incident when they cool down.
Hang in there gal.
Guy
