A Possible New Treatment for Fibrosis in Kidney Disease

Default A Possible New Treatment for Fibrosis in Kidney Disease

Many types of Kidney Disease have as part of their symptoms, a
fibrosis that hardens the material of the kidney and makes the kidney
non-functional. This progresses until the patient has to go into
dialysis or transplant because the kidney can no longer do its job.
The compound in question is called Relaxin.

This new treatment seems to reverse the action of fibrosis over
time and eases the effect of the kidney disease. I'm painting this as
a 'rosy' new treatment, but many of the studies with it were done by
attaching a 'pump' to the patient and having the Relaxin' pumped in 24
hours regularly. Relaxin can be purchased in pill form OTC by the
average person, but I don't know yet if the pill version is any good
for the purpose of easing the fibrosis.

I'm mentioning this for information. See your physician if you're
going to get involved with it.

    Here's the scientific version:
    http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/19077683

Here's a more normal presentation with rats:
    http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases...1206131446.htm

Here's a test with human cells:
    http://www.nature.com/ki/journal/v68.../4496068a.html

And the compound also seems to reduce wrinkles and thickening of the
    skin...

    Chris,
I found out another treatment program that MAY help some people that have
end-stage renal disease. As you may know, I receive Dr. Julian Whitaker's
newsletter in the mail each month. He had an article in the May 2012 issue
about a lady that was diagnosed with end-stage renal disease, etiology
    unknown.

On her own, she decided to try FSM (which stands for frequency specific
microcurrent). It's mainly used to treat pain (musculoskeletal,
    fibromyalgia, neuropathy, etc.)

She purchased a microcurrent machine for home use.

    These were her results:

She stayed just above 20 percent kidney function for 11 years. However, in
the summer of 2010, her kidney fuction went down to 15 percent. She was
    very worried.

In Feb., 2011, she purchased her own FSM machine and used it on her kidneys.

The end result: Her kidneys are now performing at 25 percent and are
    remaining at 25 percent.

Dr. Whitaker sells new FSM units but people could probably find cheaper or
even used units on the internet. His phone number is 1-800-810-6655.

His website is whitakerwellness.com and drwhitaker.com

Why does it help the kidneys?

FSM reduces inflammation, improves blood circulation, and facilitates healing.

When I hurt my lower back, they may have used such a unit on my lower
back. The electrodes were taped to my lower back.

    Jason,
Let us know how the FDM works out for you...

We have treatments for CKD just raining down on us...

I can't afford to buy a FDM unit. If I was rich and had a huge house---I
would probably buy a FDM unit.
