QUESTION ON NEW DRUG

I've just been prescribed Januvia for my Type 2 diabetes. Has anyone had
any experience with this drug? I am using it with Metformin and Prandin
and I am worried about side-effects or interactions. If you've used it,
has it helped?

There is a users/support group on yahoogroups.com, search by the name.
They can provide many fedbacks about results. The prandin will have to
be watched so lows don't occur, don't hesitate to test glucose levels.
If they do ask your doc about a smaller dose or dropping it.

The met. is a very good choice in combination, during trials with the
combination the results were among the best. As a general rule it has
far
less side effects then many diabetic meds, including the met., the
latter
was the source of side effects during combination trials.
