Every year since I have been diagnosed with diabetes, the base sends me a
letter to let me know there is a vaccine with my name on it. I always make
sure I get it because for the last few years if anybody comes to visit and
has the sniffles I will come down with it a couple of days later so I know I
would probably get the flu if someone walked past me with it

There was
only one flu shot that made me feel crummy and that was the swine flu
shot..and it was just one day. We had a little neighbor that had gotten a
pertussis vaccine and became very ill... from what I understand she got one
from a Lot that was bad...it was back in 90 or 91..well anyways after the
parents had to go through all kinds of stuff(They were accused of causing
her brain damage) Her eyes didn't work fast enough to get messages to the
brain...like she would see steps but would fall over them before her brain
could tell her to step up. Anyways the parents sued somebody(I'm not exactly
sure) She got a few million put into trust so she would be taken care of
after her parents were no longercould care for her. One of my friends little
boy got whooping cough and was put in the hospital for a few day...I think
he got something secondary from it...
