I am pretty sure at the beginning of the Revolutionary War the
Minutemen, aka Freedom Fighters, were considered "losers" by the
Loyalists. Who prevailed in the end? Those who love and cherish
freedom will always win in the end.

Over 100 Iraqi civilians are killed every day. Most by so-called insurgents.
More than 19,910 Americans wounded.

Did you watch the Texas governer debate on CSpan last night? Kinky
Friedman was there with his big smelly cigar. He made himself look
like a real idiot. The fat lady had a good line of nonsense. Made
for some good entertainment. Perry will probably be relected since
there doesn't appear to be any replacement of any quality. These
political debates on cspan are very entertaining. Tonight is the
California givernor's debate on cspan. More good entertainment.

The fact that he supports Bush and the Bush/Cheney/Rove agenda.
The man is a liar and an idiot. That may explain why he is on
FAUX-NEWS.

Oh I see, opinion and no facts.
Fox News the most watched cable news program.
Advertised as fair and balanced, I think that they have too many
liberals on it.

According to what rating service?
Last I heard Olbermann has O'Reilly (on at the same time) beat by a
country mile.

The so-called conservatives turned me away when after so many years of
claiming to be the protectors of the Constitution and Bill of Rights
they have proven themselves to be just the opposite. Bush has pushed
through the phoney "Patriot Act" and others plus now he has taken away
habeas corpus. So much for defending our rights.

I have always been a centrist and remain so. However, under the new
definitions set down my Bushites I am a flaming liberal. OTOH, I
embrace the definition of liberal:

~adj. Abbr. lib. 1. Not limited to or by established, traditional,
orthodox, or authoritarian attitudes, views, or dogmas; free from
bigotry. Favoring proposals for reform, open to new ideas for
progress, and tolerant of the ideas and behavior of others;
broad-minded. Of, relating to, or characteristic of liberalism.
Liberal Abbr. Lib. Of, designating, or characteristic of a political
party founded on or associated with principles of social and political
liberalism, especially in Great Britain, Canada, and the United
States. 2. Tending to give freely; generous: a liberal benefactor.
Generous in amount; ample: a liberal serving of potatoes. 3. Not
strict or literal; loose or approximate: a liberal translation. 4. Of,
relating to, or based on the traditional arts and sciences of a
college or university curriculum: a liberal education. 5. Archaic.
Permissible or appropriate for a person of free birth; befitting a
lady or gentleman. Obsolete. Morally unrestrained; licentious.n. 1. A
person with liberal ideas or opinions. 2. Liberal Abbr. Lib. A
member of a Liberal political party.
